Pay It Forward 1

To whom much is given, much is expected in return.

An adage I often encounter on Kris's articles. I undeniably agree. I appreciate big and tiny blessings in my life. It is ONE great tool for me to be happy.I get to magnify what and who I have in the present and wrap in a box what may probably be lacking and kindly ask the universe to conspire with me in achieving them. Most important, I quietly share to God and Mama Mary my heart's other desires.

Life's gifts occur here and there.A successful fragile surgery of a sibling, trustworthy household girls,Face Time with pretty nieces, loyal and true girlfriends, fresh TV episodes of fave shows,a healthy Mum,a gorgeous guy who cares, children's laughter and embraces, someone who makes my heart smile, sweet dreams. The list could extend on and on.

I know I am living a good life in a real world, which means that there'd be times of grief and trying times. It's a part of a complete package. How can we be happy if we've not experienced sadness? A bright sunny day is best admired after a storm.Few weeks ago,a strong typhoon paid us an unwelcome visit. My relationship with rain drops has never been the same after Ondoy.Strong winds and rains make me anxious and apprehensive. A nearby town's devastated by Pedring. People relied on bancas and 10-wheeler trucks for transportation.  After Pedring's aftermath,I wished I/we may help. In my place,we were fortunate no electricity shutdown happened, our house was flood-free,roads were passable.Mamang and I were fine. Our former parish priest,Fr.Roger, who is currently assigned there answered my prayer.Yeyyy!!! We could help in our tiny and simple way.

Yesterday,we went to Candaba to share a little of what we have.

Volunteerism provides new social interactions and can help us set aside our own miseries.By helping others,we will surely experience an increased feeling of joy and sense of fulfillment.

Among Roger has a special place in our hearts, our moms are his bffs. :) He'd find one and many ways to extend his concern for his parishioners.

It is music to the ears to hear them say Thank you to us,I couldn't help but say Salamat din, kasi ang gaan ng feeling talaga to witness them smile. I know that with Pinoy's nature of tenacity,we will levitate above the challenges.

I am a little hesitant to blog about this, bka kasi isipin ng iba, media publicity lang for Noy.:) Seriously though,I just wanna impart that all of us talaga can do something for others. And para may documentation sa lahat ng mga tumulong.

Pay it forward.I need not say more.
