HONGKONG 2011

My Hongkong trip on January of this year was made possible thru my ever true gorgeous friend,Prince.A little backgrounder: Prince was supposed to treat Harry and I in Boracay since we would often tell him how much we enjoyed the island on November. When we tried to search for promo tours, there's none because months of Dec-Jan are peak season. We suggested HK and the London guy was game! I still remember how a final decision was made thru FB chats and PMs amongst us. Adrenaline rush surfaced all at once and immediately after,Prince was already confirming the booking.:) We stayed in the former China colony for 3 days and 2 nights. Cebu Pacific was the flight carrier via DMIA Clark. We were so excited,we just can't hide it.:) It was a first time for the 3 of us to visit the place. Prince was an OC with our iteneraries. Well done.We explored the exciting and must-see spots in the city.

Any HK trip will be incomplete without a visit to Disneyland. To be candid about it, I did not grow up as a fan. I am Hello Kitty. I like Pooh. However,I couldn't contain my excitement to see the place and be a child once more, even for just a day(actually half a day for us).
I am thrilled to wear clothes fit for the cold weather.I even bought boots prior to our departure. It was indeed cold.Thank God,no arthritis occurred while on our journey.I readied myself for lower extremity -punishing walks. They welcomed us with open arms. Each time I'd try to say NO to my two boys,Prince will encourage me with our tagline for the trip: "For the experience."

The cable ride was fun and anxiety-invoking .Fear of heights made its presence felt. I am smiling now remembering Prynz dancing and singing to the tune of Beyonce's songs on his ipad.

Buddha,Buddha..be one with the universe in realizing our lives's perspectives.:) We had our lunch here before heading back. We enjoyed the food so much. It's noodles of course plus other experimental choices on their menu. It's a pity I didn't get to scribble the restaurant's name.:(

Really now, I am well pleased to meet for the first time the undeniably most popular love team: Mickey and Minnie. Such a pleasure to see their happy faces. I can very well agree that Disneyland is indeed the "happiest place on earth." The smiles plastered on each person I glimpsed never wavered. The kids especially. They couldn't decide as to where to strategically stay to have the best magical experience the place could probably offer. One "traumatic and unforgettable" event though.I will never ever enter "It's a Small World" in my lifetime. It made me sooo afraid I had dyspnea. I guess this is the price for me being an adventurous without bothering to know even just the tiniest idea about the place.

I would try this again next time,I am sure of it. I love the stars above amidst the darkness. I am always thrilled to explore nerve-wracking and breath-stopping rides. Space Mountain ride is milder than Space Shuttle in Enchanted Kingdom. I did not stop giggling all throughout the ride because my company got dizzy and they wanted the ride to end right then and there. We shall try it again please,Chz and Prynz.:) Just remember to refrain from eating jumbo hotdogs prior to the Space Mountain.LOL!

All know of course I am a Purefoods fan. And it's but fitting to bump into one of my players- Marc Pingris with his family. I didn't pass up the chance to remind him to make up for the early elimination in the PBA conference. He responded" Opo Ma'am." :)
Minnie is soooo flirty cutie with her poses.Mickey is a true gentleman. Sad I did not get to see Pooh. Oh I got scared catching Snow White. She was a doll I ran away. Is there a cure for this phobia of mine??:(

I let loose of my inhibitions and wore what I'd find hard to in our judgmental land. I felt like a celeb.Hehe!Bakit ba eh gusto ko??? Na-toxic ako planning what to slip on in every chance I can get. Day 3 ko na,day 2 pa lang nila. See the green trousers of Prynz? A Topman model.

Through the years,I have learned to practice more and more the essence of appreciating all that I have. I feel lucky to have Harry and Prince as my good pals.I am older than them,I am their Ate.Yet we are one in enjoying each other's company. They were true gentlemen to their Ate Mitzi. Sometimes, I get to think I don't need a romantic guy with me as long as these two boys are beside me.With them I get to be me in the most relaxed way and they offer me security and comfort that is precious and priceless. Looking forward for my next "experiences" with these two caring and lovely men.
