Today is the second Sunday of Lent, I am thankful to attend the 9AM mass at St. Frances of Rome Church here in Azusa. The parish priest Fr. Richard Vega has a challenging yet enriching message- " Get out of your comfort zone. You will be surprised with gladness as to where God will lead you."
- It is refreshing to just stay here at home the whole day. To have a 40-minute nap is a bliss. I cooked "asadong manok" and the people here liked it. I am still trying to master the recipe from Mayet. Hers was a real blockbuster to everyone who gets to taste it.
- Reading James Patterson's novel Hope to Die keeps me at bay with my passion for books. I choose to remain it here in my life in California.
- My Spanish sardines pasta is a hit to the audience. They are impressed and amazed that it can be so delicious. Most got second servings. Therese managed to consume a whole serving plate. Our clinic manager liked it so much she even asked for the recipe. I am ok now that is why I am able to cook,as I will never work in front of a stove with a broken spirit.
- I know I must never be complacent in work. It is my bread and butter, the prime reason why I am here in America. May I always be a cheerful giver of safe and effective care to our patients, a reliable and humble employee to the staff. I still have a lot to learn in the dialysis world.
- Hallmark TV episodes about love entertain me. I need corny stories to keep my heart somehow alive.Anything About Love, Bridal Wave. I even feel like I need to shed some tears.
- I am for Roxas and Robredo in the PH May elections. That won't change.I will enter a blog about my stand soon.
- I am super excited to fly back in Philippines next month. Though it is technically a 12-day vacation only, I am grateful, delighted and giddy, it is the most constant thing in my mind in both my sleep and wake cycle. To see, hug, kiss and hold my Mamang is all worth it. Moreover, I will be home for the Holy Week. Yayyyyy! I have the best clinic manager and company really. Serendipity brought me to FMC.
Thank You God I am fine, better than fine even. Let me continue to trust You and cultivate a deep faith in You.
Trust.Smile.Pray.
