DO or DIE at the Big Dome- The FULL Story

Early last week, I planned a Manila trip to meet my in-law's niece. The picked place to see each other would be Trinoma as it is near and convenient. On my Facebook account, status updates were related to the ongoing PBA Finals between Talk n Text and my team, B-Meg. Loud and whispered prayers alike I keep on sending to heaven for a Llamados win. It really is a part of my daily novena petitions, even fervently asking Mother Hen to please pray for a championship trophy. Watching the series's games on the boob tube with Mayet and Mamang fills the house with screams and lighted candles. On Game 6 with B-Meg at 3-2, I was ready for a championship. One of Twitter's trending tags was #NoToGame7, as you know,TnT pushed for a sudden death match.

As a B-Meg lover and supporter, I decided to set my aforementioned scheduled meeting at Gateway. It's the mall beside Araneta Coliseum. "I will watch Game 7,I think they need me."I scribbled on a note my 3 wishes for the day:
Were these granted???

A Gateway trip wouldn't be complete without Taco Bell.

One wish -check.
Obtaining a ticket is a big challenge even for ball fanatics. Soon as I arrived in the vicinity, oh mmm, the long queue of kibitzers waiting for counters to release SRO Upper Box passes was beyond what I can tolerate. All simply started to fall into place. Kind-hearted B-Meg fans in the front line agreed to buy an extra ticket for me.:) Naawa siguro sa aken.I was still hoping for a ringside tix,and holy cow, even a scalper took pity on me. He agreed to have me a lone Patron seat not far from its original prize. At sa likod pa talaga ng B-Meg team.Yay!!
B-Meg planet in white!!

Lezzz go, B-Meg!!!!!

Mrs. Marc Pingris

Me: Hi James. You think your Papa will win tonight?"
Bimby: Yes (while playing with a balloon).

Last night was my first time to see Little James in person. He's with Yaya Gerbel, 2 PSGs and James's family. All's there for Big Game except for Ate Kris. Nonetheless, she 's glued on TV.

Cap remains to be humble and accommodating.

The B-Meg planet came in full force for this rubber match.I learned that as early as 7AM, fans began to arrive outside the coliseum to grab tickets. James Yap tweeted a day before Sunday, apologizing for he could no longer accommodate fans and friends begging for tickets. The crowd attendance on this night was 21,046. PBA is back!

Seated behind me were Coach Cone's wife and son.  The De La Salle Zobel basketball coach was also at my back. Man, he's good -looking, nangiti naman ako when we high-fived.:). Many celebrities were at the Big Dome. Somehow being a show biz baduy as I am, I can't help but take a look at them. Kulang na lang ata sa hakot na artista ni MVP si Mega and Aga.Jericho cadenced in front of me pero TnT sya so I "ignored" him. Bianca Gonzalez and the beautiful girlfirends of B-Meg players were there for loud cheers too. However with the rate the game was progressing, concentration eventually shifted and stayed on the floor.
The Score prior to the 2 crucial shots of Monster Bowles.
At this point, I wasn't looking anymore at the floor. I just prayed. People from both sides were doing the same thing. Hay sabi ko na lang, ma-accept ko sana whatever the outcome may be. Salt and pepper haired gentlemen seated next to me were super nice to comfort me,telling me "Kaya pa natin 'to.We'll go for overtime." As mentioned by Jolas, "Prayer is an integral part of every human drama." Totoo!
Oh Captain,my Captain!!! You'll always be my MVP!
76-76, the score that brought the house down. It really went wild and loud at the Araneta!!! Everyone was on their feet , cheering and clapping coz literally there's no tomorrow anymore. "B-Meg!!!Defense!!!" was as deafening as  rounds of thunder.I was in perplexity as to how the coaching staff and the players managed to achieve clear communication with that too much a noise. This was an emotional moment for both teams I guess. B-Meg's import was in tears after the 2 free throws. Alvin "Captain" Patrimonio went inside the floor and hugged Monster Bowles. What a heart of Denzel to make those most crucial shots in his very young career.
Hi Yaya Gerbel. Please say Hi to my love.:)
Tin Patrimonio,Cap's eldest child.

Final score of Game 7 was 90-84. Yessss!!! B-Meg won!!!WE ARE THE CHAMPION!!!It's an epic game with an overtime at that. It's a MIRACLE game for B-Meg. With 1.2 seconds left and trailing by 2 points, TnT was sooo ready to celebrate. Finals MVP James Yap was given due credit for choosing to pass the ball to Denzel thereby generating a foul from the opponent. The results: the 2 free throws which tied the game at 76-76. In the 5 -minute extension, UnstoppaBOWLES was at its finest shooting 11 of 14 points by B- Meg.

Coach Cone's family.

James and the balloons.

The B-Meg planet was all esctatic. My trip, suletttt!!:) The game is dubbed now as instant classic.

I hoped for only one photo-op from the B-Meg team and that's with Alvin. Hay 2 decades na akong fangirl nya.:) Added bonus:

For the 3 wishes I jotted down prior to the game, obviously, they were all granted. Here I am, happily capturing the moments and photos which transpired on the destiny-dictated PBA Game 7 Sunday night. :)

Thank YOU po LORD and Mama Mary. You always assure me that it is perfectly ok to whisper to you even the littlest desires of my heart. Next na po ung 2 BIG wishes ko ha.Please. Thank You.:)
