missing him makes me crazy

I hate what I am feeling at this very time. I wish it would vanish in a snap of a finger. I am praying that tomorrow soon as I wake up, my heart will be back at its happy and content condition.I stay firm with my "No dramas" policy in public especially when it comes to matters of romance and men. Excuse myself for this blog, I need to write it down to take the heavy load off my chest. Hopefully, no one will waste time to read this.

I hate missing Crush. It is not healthy. I get easily irritated, tired and grumpy with his absence. I am disappointed with my own reactions. I babble about the most senseless thing. Once I even mentioned to my students, "My wish for today is to see my crush."It did not happen.:( Soon as I arrived home, I told Mamang I was really lonely because I did not see him. I begged that she prays for me,maybe sensing I was serious about it, she gave the thought a minute or two and she finally agreed. I need my mother's help here.

I see everyone...except him.I honestly feel it is unfair. I do not want to have even just the slightest reason to ask God why. I know it is improper and wrong. BUT,he is a great and guilt-free source of my joy. This time I am sure nobody gets hurt.Besides, he has such a positive and strong effect on me. I am more alive, happier, nicer, more patient and understanding and more forgiving. Believe me when I say that all I just want is a minute to glimpse him. Makita ko nga lang anino nya,my day is complete. Pero wala sya!!

I do my monologue now.. repeatedly reminding myself I am already happy and complete even before I made a conscious effort to list him as my definite and confirmed crush.Yes I still am. I continue to see and acknowledge the beauty and blessings I receive and my heart is warm with gratitude for everything.Nevertheless, I am deeply saddened with the realization that I could be happier and more complete with him in my existence.

Missing him makes me cry. It makes me weak inside out. Nararamdaman ko nababawasan na ang ganda ko with his absence. Where is he?I seek, seek and seek yet he manages to keep on hiding.I am actually beginning to hate him.

Harry's quote on FB strucked me to pieces," You will definitely lead a happy life without me, be successful and complete without me....yet I know I will be the sweetest stranger in your lifetime."

Japanesah Dinner

I'm currently reading a book entitled Complications. In one of its chapters, The Man Who Couldn't Stop Eating and I'm the Girl who Couldn't Stop Eating(sigh),uncontrollable eating-obesity-Rouxen-Y- gastric bypass operation were discussed. My life is a constant battle between wanting to have a tummy fit for the beach and my love for fooodd!! The latter often grabs the trophy.:( And speaking of food, might as well share with you what Kitz, a sexy lady home for holidays from Japan, lovingly prepared for us one cold December night.

I love Japanese cuisine, actually,I like anything. I tasted, tried and grabbed generous servings of all that Kitz served. Expectedly, bondat my t'yan after. At least,no rice was present that evening.:)

Thank you Kitz.Missing the cold soba now..

Soba in a box.

Pump up mushrooms.

Dinner @ Zulu

One December night, together with sisters-friends Sharon and Kei plus Jojo(Sha's cuz),dinner was set with no place where to have it. A common problem to many,we skipped malls because they're way too crowded, and this makes me a little sad,we only have a few places to come here in Pampanga,San Fernando in particular. I suggested a place in King's Royale,Analyn once went there already and she said "It's ok." My company for the night was game and so we went to try it.

Zulu Bar  and Restaurant is quite a cozy and relaxing place. They serve outdoors, however mosquitoes were there to welcome guests so we chose a table where there's an electric fan. They serve an array of meals. There's American(steak),Italian(pasta, pizza),Mexican(tacos, nachos, quesadillas), Kapampangan(sisig),Japan(tempura, maki),and Thai(pad thai, bagoong rice). We were hungry and game to try their servings so we ordered a lot. Suma tutal,we were satisfied with what we ate. It won't definitely be blocked from our possible choices in the future.

Nachos for appetizer

Lettuce with ripe mango salad

Fresh spring rolls

Steak with prawns

My pad thai

Impression on the Impeachment

Today is a historic mark in our land,it is the first time a Chief Justice will face impeachment trial under the Senate chamber. I claim no position to be adept with the technicalities of the proceedings. Some judicial and constitutional matters are quite beyond my knowledge. So what I could share will be personal and purely based on how much I understand what is currently happening in our nation.

Chief Justice(CJ) Renato Corona often reiterates that his trial is an assault on the independence of judiciary. I beg to disagree. The impeachment as far as what I comprehend is focused on allegations directed only on him (his SALN) and not to the entirety of the judiciary. Back in my secondary years, I learned of executive, legislative and judiciary branches as independent of one another. If a former president(Erap) was placed under trial, so can a Supreme Court CJ or even the current president, given ample allegation's evidences. No one is untouchable in this democratic country.

On Babe Romualdez's column yesterday on The Philippine Star entitled Impeachment: What is at Stake, he couldn't write it any better. "That at the end of it all, what is ultimately at stake here is our political maturity as a nation- whether we are in fact a nation that follows the democratic process  and the rule of law- not always turning to mob rule." Truth to tell, I won't give my vote for additional People Powers unless Martial Law would be declared.

I have certain wishes on the Impeachment trial:
  • That both the prosecution and defense panels will remain true to form on objective presentations of their evidences and statements and no personal mudslinging will occur.
  • That our senator-judges perform their duties carefully and without biases.May they remain impartial throughout the trial. That they will decide on this very important matter with veracity, justice, and most important,"kapakanan ng taong bayan" in their minds and hearts.May they all be guided by the Holy Spirit in verdict-decision.
  • That the impeachment process will see its designated finish line for a formal verdict and closure.
  • That whatever the verdict may be,Noy,Corona, the lawyers, and all Filipinos will respect it.
  • That while the trial is taking its course, all our leaders in the 3 branches of the government shall not fail on their duties to attend to numerous problems of the country eg., illegal mining, landslide and typhoon victims, fuel price hike, unemployment, health problems.
  • On a personal thought, I pray for peace of mind for Corona's and PNoy's families. I am trying very hard here to be impartial but my love and fanaticism for Kris and her fam stays strong. I know the family will wish for conviction here. So this afternoon, while Mamang is patiently waiting for the TV coverage, I blurted, "Sana di na lang nag-president si Noy,nakaka-stress talaga!!!"

2011 Christmas and New Year

I love Christmas time. Everyone becomes kinder, more generous and forgiving, and has that spark of hope and love that radiates immensely.
With siblings living on other side of the planet and different time zones,we managed to celebrate altogether with Face Time.:) Old traditions such as  what to cook and prepare were "strictly" followed like the ever nilagang manok, suman, barbecue.:)
I caught this on Twitter: May we all be reminded of the sole reason for the celebration. It is HIM! Here's hoping each of us had a meaningful and joyful CHRISTmas with our families and friends! Cheers!!

Ready for Christmas Eve mass.
Here is Mamang with Mayet and her kids,Kakay and Macmac.

Beautiful lady.

Merry Christmas to my Texas fam!!!
And to our California girls!!!
This is our simple and traditional Christmas table with spaghetti, barbecue, sticky rice, fruits, etc.

Thank you,2011!! WELCOME 2012!!!
At church.
2011 has been very nice and considerate with me. I could say it is one of my most peaceful, fruitful and happy years in important aspects of my life like love, career, family and spiritual growth. So here's praying and hoping for a better and more purposeful Year of the Dragon.
Thanks Among Roger for this very delicious homemade cake.

12 kinds of fruits on the table , with sotanghon, sticky rice, ube etc.

Mayet and her kids. At least we have company.

Koolits!
Trying my best to be frugal, I just bought 1 piece of fountain for fireworks and it cost 80 pesos!KM( kamahalan)!!:) I have smart kids with me so as to create noise and join the festivities, we screamed our lungs out, turned the Ipod on full volume, danced on the street and drummed a cooking pan .:)
These are my neighbors. Oh how we miss the old, jolly Boulevard. I cannot for the life of me trade all the childhood and teen memories I had in my place. We miss everyone else who are in other places now, say my brothers,Mommy Lita( in heaven),the Simon boys, etc. Each night I pray that we may have a peaceful and safe neighborhood.
Girls na lang pala kami halos na natira.

Holidays may drain and sweat our pockets, try our patience and endurance in dealing with traffic, shopping and activities yet inside us, we never get tired looking forward to this season. Why so? Maybe because it brings back the child in us, it is a time where all of us are entitled to be special and experience happiness with family and love ones. And we all deserve that.:)

I'm Excited,Trying to Hide It!

As early as the previous year, my excitement over a very significant occasion has been planted. These days,it is slowly and stubbornly trying to grow stronger.I have included this on my series of petitions for a long period of time now. Maybe God says, I deserve real joy in person so some most-loved persons in my life are flying!!! Yeyyyy!!! Fingers crossed and cheaper fare tickets,I will get to XOXO my beautiful princesses!!!:)

Random plans play around my head. We'll play hide and seek and tinker with their Ipads. We'll dance Dynamite and ballet together wearing party dresses and shoes. I'll bring them to Jollibee, buy balut and ice cream at the plaza. They'll ride on Lola Mamang's tri-wheeler at the patio. I will happily listen to all their stories and dreams.

Looking forward in meeting you live,Kadie and Mykee.:)

When,oh,when...???

Dear Crush, this song is for you!!!!

Till you find me!!!:)

Merry December

All will agree that the 12th month of the year is the busiest because of the holidays and occasion we are all looking forward to- the Nativity of Jesus. Since it is the birthday of our Saviour,December is filled with parties,get-togethers and what-have-yous just so as to celebrate good and fun times with friends and loved ones.Inevitably,we may be weary and cranky from one affair to another. However, I would like to believe that the joy and pleasure of spending time with people we value prevails in the end. I also want to hold to my faith that the most important reason of the endless celebrations is to honor and ennoble the BIRTHDAY of Jesus.

On a more candid note,it is also an excuse to dress up,curl hair and sing unabashedly.:)

1. College of Nursing Faculty Party at Partyland Restaurant: Dec 17,2011

I would like to thank my level IV students for my hair and make-up. They were excitedly finding the right look and style for me.:)
I was impressed with the result. On the night before this party, I only had a few hours of sleep because of a Tagaytay trip.My eyes were obviously tired and I did not have the drive to dress up.Luckily, again,my sweet students were there to offer instant help.Yeyy!!

Two men in our department I like,Sir Manny & Harry. Wishing them a world of romantic love and lust.Kidding!!:)

Good thing,I kept this Christmas headband from last year's family party.Cute one, right??
Harry,KC and Romeo- Di lang sila gwapo, intelligent pa!! One student commented "The Masters of Med-Surg.":)
These "faces" were used as props of our colleagues for their special dance number. They're so cute and fantastic, we used them as backdrop for pictorials.:)

My CON  family obviously love to party and bond with lotsa fun and laughter plus well-planned productions.
I am happy to have Ate Ana and Harry with me in the department.Work life is better with them.

And I really enjoyed my curls.:)

2. UA Employees's Glittery Party,December 20,2011 @ UA Gymnasium

3. Cunanan Christmas Party,December 22,2011

Click here for more pictures of the reunion.

4. Random Get-togethers with Friends
Mitzi,Kitz,Bhanie

This was taken on December 26,when Kristine,on a holiday break meticulously prepared cold soba and other Japanese dishes for us. I'll write another blog for that. For now all I can say is,lahat masarap.
As expected,a dinner night turned out as drinking session again with ice-cold beer, mojito and tequila waiting for their turn to be served. I had 3 shots of tequila here to combat the cold weather.:) Effective it is.:)
Teach us how to dougie!!!:)

5. @ Greenbelt,Makati,December 27,2011
Wearing here my MAC Russian red lipstick given by a friend,Pam. I sooo like it! Finally I have the fave lip color of Lucy,Liz and Kris.Hihi!Gaya gaya puto maya Me!
How's it going, Martin and Caysie?? May your love team build on one cold December night prosper.:)

Sha,me,Ate Lan.

Strolling around with 4-inch heel stilettos is no joke. I braved the pain and discomfort, amidst the long paths and rainshowers, I did quite good. It's rightfully termed "tiis ganda." My sis-friend Sharon sported a new hairdo, she looks younger, fresher and prettier with it.

6. PT Mars's Dinner @ Misty's Home,December 28,2011

I love these friends of mine,I am thankful for the decade and more years of camaraderie with them. Jhers,Che's hubby describes us as "Wang-wang Girls" of AUF because of our loud ang high-pitched voice most especially Armin.:)
We seldom meet and be with one another. As texted by Che once, no matter the distance and time, the love and care remains to linger. True.

We miss our other friends,Pen,Danna,Che with Ram,and Mhen. We were anywei happy, that finally we were able to step inside Misty's very elegant and cozy abode. She and her husband Mark designed the place themselves. And a tiny human creature inside Rose's tummy joined the stories, laughter and dinner too.

Such a good time to be with lovely and beautiful ladies, to laugh and share here and there chats and tete-a-tete. I wish the planned overnight camping will push through.Till Rose gives birth so she can drink Tanduay Ice and margarita with us.:)
Photos grabbed from Rose's FB account.

7. Fr. Ching's Party for US,December 29,2011

"I never really cared until I met youuuuu..."
"And now it chills me to the bones!! How do I get you alone??"

:)
Thank you,Among Ching for generously sharing your time and blessings with us. I hope I made you happy with my shoes and song number.Sure you did!:)
