Michelle's Giddy and Round Eyes

The smiles I have on these photos emanated from my mind, heart and body. The 3-month "vampire" mode training in Makati finally reached its end. When the trainers revealed that I passed all the exams, I literally pumped my fists in the air and giggled. I almost hugged everyone on the floor!!Yayyyy!!I am going back to my province, see Mom every day  and sleep on my bed at  night time. Goodbye 12midnight-9AM work, hello normal life!!:)

The photo that broke the record of the most # of likes on my Facebook account… and changed the "game!"Naramdaman ng mga tao and kaligayahan ko.

These were taken roughly around 5AM after the eye-straining and mind-boggling practical examination. I almost had tears fall on my cheeks while I gave my thanksgiving prayer to Jesus, Mama Mary and all the saints. I survived city life alone, Mom stayed alright while I was away, I have the most considerate bosses who allowed me to have a 3-month leave.

I am now back with my girlfriends and our activities, I do not need to take vitamins to get uninterrupted sleep at 4PM so I can be ready for the training at 11PM. I am back with Kobe, no more LRT and MRT lines. And yes, I now take my lunch at 12 NOON and not at 3:30 AM!:)

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

Giddy. Happy.Pretty.:)

Love the People You're With

This entry's title is inspired by Emily Griffin's novel, Love the One You're With. I love the people who love me and care for me, people who are happy with my success and dreams' realizations. I am blessed to have "siblings" around when my 3 older brothers live miles away from me and Mamang. They serve as my inspirations and sources of strength. Yuletide holidays of 2014 officially began:

Lobby of One Shang. Welcome home, Lette.

I am proud of their achievements. This is Arlette's unit at One Shang.

City view for them.

My Philippines family.

When I am with them, my heart is relaxed.

We are fun-loving individuals.

The morning after the wedding with my beautiful and bright niece, Jann.

At the lobby of Linden Suites. My beautiful girls-Jann, Tammy and Arlette.

BFFs us three.

Travel buddies, sisters, best friends.

Got my Starbucks planner on this day.:)
Dear God, thank YOU for giving me the gift of this wonderful, generous, loving, caring, and understanding family. I choose the focus on the bright and sunny view!!:)

Play Live

If I have to name two sports that are close to my heart, they will surely be basketball and tennis. I do not  play the games, I am however passionate in watching them, I can discuss the rules and scoring, the players' profiles, and I feel the excitement that happens when players are on court.

Catching international tennis tournaments on television takes a great deal of effort as they are shown at another part of the world's time zone. Yes, I stay awake midnight here, early afternoon in London for Wimbledon; how about the US Open at Flushing Meadows in New York- with the 12-hour difference my Philippine time has with it.

Why do I like tennis? It is the long-standing elegance of the game, when players pump their fists on air, when the spectators clap for the two players/teams. I like it as a quiet type of sports, no continuous screaming or else the umpire won't start the match. And of course, the court has always been known to strut and produce handsome and gorgeous players. I also love the pretty, colorful outfits and jewelry of the women.

Last Friday, a wish of thousands of Filipino tennis fans was granted. International tennis players came to play live at Mall of Asia(MOA) Arena for International Players Tennis League (IPTL) tournament
.It's their way of making tennis closer to the public with a tagline #BreaktheCode, it has new rules too. Each match has only one set and there are four competing teams- Manila Mavericks, Singapore Slammers, UAE Royals and Indian Aces. Murray and Maria belong to #TeamManila. Yayyyy!! I trooped to the venue by myself, it was my first time to catch an event in the area. It's huuuuge!!!Who would have thought I will see Maria Sharapova, Ana Ivanovic and Andy Murray and my old-time crush Lleyton Hewitt display their powerful serves and strokes in the land of Manila so soon??But hell yeah, it happened!:) And I was so glad!!!

Battle of the Beauties: Ana and Daniela

Murray and Sharapova for Manila Mavericks

I know this won't be the last time of me catching matches live. In fact, it's just the beginning as I will soon witness Wimbledon Open with my very good buddy Prynz and US Open together with the love of my life!! The power of positive thinking!!:)

Serve. Run. Volley.
