Yayyyyy!!! As always, God grants not only my wishes, He exceeds them. For my Visa Screen renewal (it has expired without me not leaving the Philippine islands yet), I needed to take an English exam again to test my proficiency on the said language. As a professional nurse, I was to have the academic training. Certain particulars I have to meet: a grade of 7 in speaking and an overall band score of 6.5.
I enrolled for a review package, unfortunately, I barely attended sessions as I stay the whole weekdays at work. Weekends are for family, friend trips and gym time. I just relied on the review materials I took home. Listening, speaking and reading parts I practiced well. I was having dilemma with the writing part as it was supposed to be done in a formal manner. And I am not the type of girl who likes to scribble when forced to. Writing for me is done as when you want and wish to. Two days prior my exam, that's when I mustered the courage to answer the practice tasks.
Let's admit it, when we take exams, we know deep inside us whether we passed it or not. However, we play safe by waiting for the official results. So 13 days after taking the IELTS English test, I opened the British Council site online:
