Shall Spurs Beat the Heat??

This morning, Manila time,Game 1 of NBA Finals 2013 was won by San Antonio Spurs vs Miami Heat,92-88. I only caught the few remaining minutes of 4th quarter and the thousand replays of Parker's last shot against Lebron. Whoaaa!! What an awesome shot by Eva's ex.:)

My love and loyalty continues to soar strong for the purple and yellow team of Black Mamba. I muttered this morning, if only the Lakers were the ones playing on the floor, it would have been a different atmosphere here at home with my scream. I want this season to end fast so we can look forward to 2014.Really hoping that before degenerative joint conditions lay in Kobe's system, he may have 1 more ring for the road.

Once I asked Ville if there's any way Heat may not be the champion of NBA this year, he paused and said there's a chance if Spurs will be the opponent. I saw some games of the Miami team. As much as I dislike Lebron, I can't help but say he's playing damn very well on court. Gone's the Lebron I used to see who can't afford to take crucial shots. Yes, he is an MVP and he deserves it.  I like Dwayne, I used to cheer for him as a special person in muh past had Wade as his basketball peg. I like # 3's turns and passes and appeal. For no apparent reason, I have this palpable dislike for James. Maybe because my brothers "hate" him as much. Pardon me for this conversation I had with them once, " Hay Koya, kahit ligawan ako ni Lebron and lavish me with diamonds at lahat lahat pa, eke aburi." To which my equally insane brothers agreed. "Ay wa Chelle, tsura na!!!" LOL!!! Ray Allen is a major positive addition to this defending champion. And the other guy, Bosh.

It's safe for me to say my 2nd team is San Antonio Spurs. That's why when my favorite Desperate Housewife married Tony Parker,I was glad. Power couple
, sad though they had to part ways. Tim, why that calm and collected persona all these years, notwithstanding the consistent playing abilities which continue to wow the hoop world? Manu,Manu, those hands that can still produce unbelievable shots.

If I will have it my way, I want the Spurs to win the NBA ring. Old age, no way. Let them beat the Heat. If it goes the other way, so be it with power of the Heat. In the coming games, I will still be a spectator, albeit a composed one. As I know I will not light candles in our altar, ask Mother Hen to pray for a win make personal sacrifices and scream my lungs out. These I do exclusively for my Lakers and Kobe. And James... Yap.:)

Basketball is love.
