Eat and Play at The Garden

China women Arlette and Penny
Finally,my longing to step on the grounds of a used-to-be-secret garden in Tagaytay happened this merry December. The place did not disppoint me with its quiet and tranquil ambience as stated and featured on its own website. Sonya's Garden has been an infamous place to see in Tagaytay for quite a time now.It has its bed and breakfast service already.
Cortez's sisters: Ate Lan,Ate Tonette and Kitz

My girl pals and I opted to have our lunch in the garden with its buffet choice of oh-so-fresh garden salad, dalandan juice, wheat bread with their own concoctions of spread.

The garden offers visitors a refreshing and warm feel with its luscious kinds of flowers, plants and trees. The sublime and unpretentious features of Sonya's is a healthy visual respite to the guests.

We enjoyed the salad, though we missed rice and meat.:) A minor glitch was the unavailability of roasted chicken. It could only be prepared for visitors who made reservations,we just walked-in.:( The roasted chestnuts, mangoes, lettuce, white cheese, etc. plus their own dressings was opulent. I personally liked the pesto and spanish sardines spread matched with the wheat bread. Oh,we consumed around 5 pitchers of the dalandan juice.

Some photos grabbed from Arlette's FB account.

I had the lovely company of gorgeous ladies on this day. Conversations and laughter were expected with them. Photo-ops in the garden was inevitable too.
I relish the natural and settled design of Sonya's. For a noisy and loquacious girl like me,it's nice that sometimes,I get to appreciate a few quiet minutes hearing nothing at all.
Who knows,on my next visit,I will avail of their bed and breakfast offers.Come with us?:)
