A few days ago,my Valentine girls(Dudz,Joidz and Joie, aka Angel,Anne & George) and I had a movie date at SM Pampanga.Betty Rimmed was not able to join us because of her JBL duty.Such a model nurse.:) What to watch??Of course,Catch me,I'm in Love starring Sarah G. and Gerald Anderson. I was already excited before the playdate ,the trailer was convincingly romantic and light, the theme song,oh I have known for ages already, and would every now and then, pop as my "theme song" . I may not actually be a die hard Sarah fan yet she left a mark in her performance with the movies teamed up with Lloydie.
The story impressed me for the reason that it was able to combine the ordinary ,every day lifestyle of girl with a typical Pinoy family and the tale fairy-like of loving a Presidential son who happens to be gorgeous. Rosann is a girl from Caloocan, who like me has boys as siblings. NBSB she is,she desperately wants to have someone to love and be loved in return. Eric ,played by Gerald sincerely love her. The story is light. The lines were,I am sure, uttered by people like you and me.No heavy drama.Just that comes from the heart. I specifically like the part when Rosann couldn't contain her giddiness on Eric that she just naturally giggled and said" Kasi kinikilig ako."
Loving somebody "big" ain't easy. The uneasiness and difficulty that lie with it is and will not be a walk in the park.At some point,no matter how the other half may try to convince that all will be alright. It just would not be. However, to truly love somebody, one must embrace the reality that love can endure trials. Love serves as the most comforting blanket that can cover us from all uncertainties and insecurities in this world.
