Birthday cake from Father Roger Yambao. I admire the friendship established among him,Mom, Tita Beck and Tita Bue. He is a cool priest.Someone who'd gladly make time for the girls. It was indeed funny how they would sneak in the middle of the night from their gimmicks. Reversal of roles it is. Me the daughter waiting for them to arrive from their Chowking or Max's dinner,Manila or Angeles branches at that. I went with them on their Crosswinds,Tagaytay trip, witnessed many a times their laughter and stories about anything under the sun. Among Roger is their ever kind companion who drives them to places ,does groceries with them(these 3 girls aren't really domesticated, unlike Mommy Lita),plans what their upcoming journeys would be,brings them to clergy activities. I am looking forward on the day wherein they would once again be altogether and create new moments.
I will forever be grateful to Among Roger for storming heaven with prayers during Mamang's battle with stroke. I know in my heart just how much he conversed with God for Mang's recovery.
Mom's Villa friends. They make her feel special. They stayed for more than 4 hours..with Tita Beck live via phone patch.:) Lots of stories to tell, time with these ladies is never boring.
Wacky!Wacky!Thank you Titas for always remembering Mamang. See how cool Among is??
My Tito BATMAN. He is Mom's older brother. My siblings and I respect him so much. We know him as a man with a good heart, ever willing to help in any possible way. Mamang loves her siblings...no ifs and buts. She asks me and my brothers to do the same with each other. I am touched with Tatang's presence, even with his frail health,he came with Kong Gie and Kong Raymond plus their families.
No matter ho busy our parish priest,Father Josel Henson,is,he'd find a way to attend Mamang's invites. He jokes and banters a lot, which makes Mom smile. I know that beyond his impish grin lies a heart that sincerely prays and cares for for his parishioners.
Thank YOU God for the 74 years of my mother. Thank you sooo much for her chance to live again. It means sooo much to me that you allowed the two of us to be together after her health journey. I can never thank You enough. She may not be at her best condition yet as what Koya Melvin said,"What more could we ask for?"
Thank you for the gift of hope and faith.
Thank you to all who remembered and came to greet Mamang.
Till 2012 for Mamang's 75th party.:)
Postscript:
Since there's no "official" photographer on this night, our other special visitors weren't captured on lenses.Like Among Tito Chingkido,my Villa Luisa friends,Bffs Sha and Kei,sis souls Lyn and Cleng, our neighbors and relatives.
A thousand and one things could pop in my head in a single time.It may be too much that I have to write what goes through. This page serves as my zone to express my heart and mind's contents.
Till LOVE finds me.

catch me before i fall
A few days ago,my Valentine girls(Dudz,Joidz and Joie, aka Angel,Anne & George) and I had a movie date at SM Pampanga.Betty Rimmed was not able to join us because of her JBL duty.Such a model nurse.:) What to watch??Of course,Catch me,I'm in Love starring Sarah G. and Gerald Anderson. I was already excited before the playdate ,the trailer was convincingly romantic and light, the theme song,oh I have known for ages already, and would every now and then, pop as my "theme song" . I may not actually be a die hard Sarah fan yet she left a mark in her performance with the movies teamed up with Lloydie.
The story impressed me for the reason that it was able to combine the ordinary ,every day lifestyle of girl with a typical Pinoy family and the tale fairy-like of loving a Presidential son who happens to be gorgeous. Rosann is a girl from Caloocan, who like me has boys as siblings. NBSB she is,she desperately wants to have someone to love and be loved in return. Eric ,played by Gerald sincerely love her. The story is light. The lines were,I am sure, uttered by people like you and me.No heavy drama.Just that comes from the heart. I specifically like the part when Rosann couldn't contain her giddiness on Eric that she just naturally giggled and said" Kasi kinikilig ako."
Loving somebody "big" ain't easy. The uneasiness and difficulty that lie with it is and will not be a walk in the park.At some point,no matter how the other half may try to convince that all will be alright. It just would not be. However, to truly love somebody, one must embrace the reality that love can endure trials. Love serves as the most comforting blanket that can cover us from all uncertainties and insecurities in this world.
