Meet My Big Bossings

Let me introduce with pride and delight my superiors at work in an organizational chart-fashion.:)

Rev.Fr. Joselito C. Henson, President

Fr. Henson is THE university president and our biggest bossing. To the people of my little town, he needs no further introduction because he was our parish priest for 5 beautiful and productive years. He is known for his short, sharp and practical homilies that are hard to forget. He is also a stickler for punctuality and excellence. Among Josel's connectedness with people with whom he works with is so genuine, it becomes an easy task for others to follow or obey his orders and guidelines.  The value of indebtedness for this man is strongly instilled in my  heart. Isn't it when a good deed happens to us, we are compelled to be kind and act favorably on that person?
Rev. Fr. Victor S. Nicdao, VP for Admin

Among Vic is the Vice President for Administration. and I belong to his cluster. Before he became my boss, what I know of him is he's Among Josel's classmate and friend. During my interview with him for my new position, I was anxious then his first line was , " Ika ing pamangkin ng Among Ching?" said with a warm smile. This brilliant and humble man has a generous heart, people find him approachable for big and tiny concerns.

Mrs. Edwina P Dizon, CITL Director
I am still getting to know Ma'am Wina, nonetheless for the short time that we're together, I get to discover early on her passion and perseverance in her duties as our department's director. Hindi s'ya mahirap kausap, she always has ready ears for my queries and requests. Mam Wina places God at the center of her life and it is evident in her sunny and guided disposition.
Michelle Ann
Finally, I am me!:) I have the best of both worlds in the university coz I belong to two departments. I work full-time under Center for Information, Technology and Laboratories (CITL) and as part-time lecturer under College of Nursing. I am blessed and lucky I have kind-hearted and understanding bossings who have the extreme patience in tolerating and accepting my twisted character yet they manage to trust me with responsibilities and duties. You know, to make my life more purposeful. :)

I love my job. Though I pray every day I get to be able to use my USRN license pretty soon.:)

Passion. Dedication. Perseverance.

TuesdayTeenager Song

I am crazy over this song by James Reid and Nadine Lustre, lead stars of romcom Diary ng Panget. I have to listen to this every single day. The upbeat tempo and slang words make it so inviting that tonight I plan to memorize the whole song. Shall I download you on iTunes?

By the way, it is entitled NO ERASE!:)

Is It Possible?

Can we really be friends? I mean can exes be "friends" on Facebook? What is society's say on this? Could there actually be implications and "mis"interpretations if one accepts or ignores the "friend request"?

An Instagram quote states,  two reasons former lovers become friends. One, they were not totally over each other. Second, they never loved each other. Could this be true?

To accept or reject the request. That remains to float in the air.

Labor Day @ Magalawa Island

And so it materialized, that is an overnight summer getaway of our Villa group. We were big 17 in attendance inside RLY and Kobe.Yayyy!!Kobe is going out of town for "tanggal karbon!":) We left Sta.Ana at 2:45 early morning. Julia was still in her jammies.

M is for Michelle and Mariana
It was almost a 5-hour drive to Palauig, Zambales with short stopovers for stretching and breaks. Straight and narrow, zigzag, wide and smooth, rough and steep roads, we all met them along the way. It was quite a long trip but Tita Beck and I never ran out of stories to tell while Tammy was asleep wedged between us.
 Four set meals for all.

I love these beings!
This is an inexpensive summer outing with precious moments to cherish. Three best things here: a) the 4 main set meals are included in the package and they were well-proportioned with seafoods, meat, veggies, sodas and breads plus unlirice for all, it was hassle-free;b) the 1-hour snorkeling was also part of the package; and c) we are a happy and crazy bunch of people we find fun and excitement in anything laid upon us.

Friends. Family. Summer.
